Early Off Season Musings.

So... here we are again Wolves fans.   Another infusion of high expectations quickly tamed by an unspectacular start to the season.  The mid-season run was certainly fun to watch. Our team has all the young talent to compete and establish themselves as an NBA Western Conference powerhouse for years to come. Just not, this year. Karl-Anthony Towns was a monster. Andrew Wiggins showed promise. Zach Lavine established himself. Ricky Rubio stayed and found his shot. All good signs looking forward, just not enough and not soon enough to make enough of an impact this season. The injury to Zach was unfortunate and certainly set us back a step. The same can be said for the injury to Nemanja. But there is no denying the fact that the momentum our team had gained mid-season quickly evaporated for no apparent reason as we were coming down the stretch. Maybe it was the injuries.
